Unveiling of Busts of Nobel Laureates
at the o The Derek Walcott Lecture was presented by Dr. Antonia MacDonald-Smythe on the topic: “In Celebration of the Provincial in the St. Lucian Arts.” Her presentation examined the style and concerns which characterise the creative works of St. Lucian artists such as Derek Walcott, Garth St. Omer, Harold Simmons and Dunstan St. Omer. o Schools’ Programme: “The Making of a Laureate”. Several schools, both at the Primary and Secondary level, took part in this cultural programme. They contributed through song, music, poetry, dance and drama. o

Seraphine. Organometrix is a communicative painting concept which Cedric
